Donations

Scouts Canada can facilitate cash donations that generate an income tax receipt. We can also support employer contribution/matching schemes. Workplace United Way campaigns typically allow you to designate your charity of choice, so please consider directing to Scouts Canada to the attention of 12th Coquitlam (sometimes there are matching funds as well).

Directed Donation

To make a donation on the Scouts Canada website and ensure it makes it to 12th Coquitlam, do the following:

• Go to the Scouts Canada donation page: https://www.scouts.ca/donate/ways-to-give.html?form=donate

• Choose whether this is a single donation or an ongoing contribution

• Enter the donation amount

• Under Designation, select Donate to a Specific Scout Group.

  • This step is important. If you do not choose this option, the donation will not be directed to 12th Coquitlam.

  • You do not need to enter a dedication.

• Continue through the payment screens and enter your contact and payment information.

• After entering your credit card information, you will see a final screen called Additional Information.

  • In the field asking you to name the specific Scout Group you are supporting, enter 12th Coquitlam Group.
